Ephphata
Ephphata is an international Charismatic Renewal Movement founded on the 30th September 1976, by Reverend Pierre Meinrad Hebga (Jesuit).
It is a religious movement within the Catholic Church. It has an ecumenical vocation and works towards a deepening of the Christian Life. It is apostolic and of an unconditional life-span. In accordance with the tradition in the Catholic Church, it has a Mentor or ecclesiastical patron, who is the bishop of the diocese where the movement has its headquarters.
We gather every Friday in Our Lady of Victories Hall from 7pm to 8.30pm with only one common aim in mind: to praise God by
• A fervent prayer of Adoration, in an atmosphere of joy, of enthusiasm, of spontaneity and of discipline;
• Fraternization and Solidarity amongst its members;
• Development of the ecumenical spirit between and within the different Christian Churches.
• Collaboration with other Christian Action Movements;
• Deepened understanding of Christian Charity;
Please do come along for a special meeting with our creator. Everybody is welcome.
Praise the Lord! |
